The Church of Joy is the invention of my good friend reverend_mark.
It's hard to sum up in a paragraph, but it's basically the philosphy of seeking Joy over Fear, even though Fear is easier, more familiar and a hell of a lot more comfortable. As envisioned by somebody who is usually cynical, often mad and occasionally drunk.
