I agree with you wholeheartedly. Although you are technically about 1000x more irish than me, its the history, the 'weird-ass' catholicism, the ideals, the morals, the traditions, the alcoholisms, that make up who we are if we have history from that fine and tortured country.

And its the green beer, leprauchans, and kitschy bullshit that most people who know, live and understand the history hate.
