Remember how we set up a tunnel for port 25 for email back a while ago? Do that for 119 as well. Then point your favorite newsreader at localhost when you've got putty open to ninehells.

It was like a community closing ranks on an enemy outsider. Pretty well unheard of in my experience, and totally worth skimming through (Retardboy gets a bit repetitive after a while).
The subsequent plan for a net.goth get together in Saratoga Springs next year is also promising.
