you spin me right round

Got my inner ear adjusted by the chiro on Friday after work. Felt a bit loopy but ok. Slept sitting up.
Felt *great* on Saturday. Cleaned All The Things. No dizziness at all.
So of course I drank on Saturday night. And slept lying down because, well there was somebody in the bed who was warm and snuggly and smelled good. And then I was dizzy as HELL on Sunday. I was wobbly in the morning but able to start cleaning up, and then I looked out the window and the world started spinning. I tried to re-create the head-twisting the chiro had done to me on my own on the couch[1], which seemed to help with the violent spinning, but I was still loopy and motion-sick. I spent the next couple of hours sitting on the couch afraid to move while Darrell fetched me a bucket and made me ginger tea to try and calm down my stomach.
Axel came home with some Gravol and after a while I felt able to leave the couch and have some food. So my stomach was happier, but I still had to go down the stairs on my butt every time I needed to pee. I had a restless sleep in my own bed.
Today I'm wobbly but not enough to make the motion sickness start up again and I was able to come into work. It's back to the chiro tonight to get my inner ear adjusted again. And this time I will wait the required three days before I try lying down.
[1]I just looked this up and it's called the Epley maneuver.
