I do it every year, it's a lot of fun.

It's odd I've done nano since 2004 but I think I was only vaguely aware of this

It started off because some author did it, so it was really popular - for exactly one year. By the time I found about it there was like me and three other people.

I've done it every year since, it is honestly the most creative night of my year.
