April 30 is haircut appreciation day

Note to Self: If you walk into a barber shop and every single dude who works there has the same haircut, there is a reason for that.

I figure I have two options, buy some pomade and keep it slicked back until it grows out, or shave my head and start over.

Argh. I've been growing my undercut a smidge so I can finally get my pre-pandemic short cut back (top stuff is now past my shoulders), but still need to find a hairdresser in this new town, and I don't know any women with short hair to ask for a trustworthy recommendation. This is the kind of thing I'm nervous about.
