Write Every Day: Day 3

This might be just a check-in post, we'll see if I can get a sentence or two in later tonight.

Tonight I'm attending a virtual history lecture on the Toronto Circus Riot being hosted by the Ontario Genealogical Society. I love hearing about stories like this because it proves that no matter how ridiculous and far-fetched your story might be on the surface, history has something even worse.

And having typed that, it just occurred to me that I should put my own name under the dates I managed to get writing done. D'oh.

Today was another day when I hit a wall, energy-wise, and have struggled to find motivation once my adulting was done, so I ended up adding another 179 words to the little thing I started yesterday.

I really do need to go back and finish the two? three? stories that also started this way. *sighs*

It was really interesting. It tied into the history of sectarian violence in the city that really isn't talked about.

Sometimes your brain needs to be distracted by shiny things. They'll still be there when you have the energy to focus on them.
