I hope AO3 isn't going anywhere but it's definitely a good idea to have backups. I've resorted to just keeping my stuff in text files after Manuskript stopped working on my computer and a bunch of my files are just sitting there inaccessible.

Sounds like you did a lot of work and made good progress on your writing at the same time.
