Even though I do most of my writing with a pen in a notebook, when I'm out and about I usually rely on my phone or a tablet, since I have trouble fitting a reasonably-sized notebook in my purse (and definitely not my normal notebook, which lives inside a leather cover). I usually try and make sure I have a good stylus on hand if I feel like I might need something other than my fingers to type with.
