It is cathartic, for sure. I am very much looking forward to the part where I get the rest of the house back and I can unpack all this stuff.

I'm also running into the issue where I'm storing stuff belonging to my step-father - once we get rid of the unit we'll have to have a conversation about whether or not he realistically ever expects to use any of it again.
