Things I intended to do in the last 48 hours; get in touch with my bank, clean my living space, maybe visit the storage room and look through boxes.

What I did instead: walk for about two miles in the dark calling my cat's name while shaking a treat bag and then going around and putting up Lost Cat posters.

One of our neighbours caught him in their backyard and the little fucker is home now. Asshole.

This is Lord Brock. He is normally entirely the opposite. He was a rescue and outside is the Bad Place.

I think one of the contractors must have frightened him or something so he bolted through an open door.

There are coyotes in my neighbourhood so I was really worried.
