You know, if I could stop having emergencies for five fucking minutes I could catch up on doing all the flight checks that prevent emergencies from happening in the first place.

So after three solid days on the phone with the bank - I'm not kidding, that's all I've done since I got up Wednesday morning - the mortgage application is signed off and sent to the underwriters today. I had to work my way through four people in three different departments to do it. What a clusterfuck.

New close date is supposed to be on July 18. There is nothing else I can do about it now but wait.

Finish packing up the last of the Old Man's apartment

Talk to contractor about sealing up the house before the energy audit

Go to storage unit and empty out housemate's stuff

Old Man appointment at the hospital in two weeks

Moving truck booked

Energy audit booked

Care conference with LTC team booked

Pretty sure I'm forgetting something there.

[Edit to add] Yes I was! I was forgetting that the 15th is the monthly "on-site" day at job, so I have to dig through my boxes of clothes for something that fits.

And I really need to find my tools.

Hard relate. Most days I'm like, hey, not having clean underwear in the morning is not an emergency. I can sit around in PJs while I do the wash tomorrow. Until I have a morning appointment and it is. Similar, D's suits have been in storage for 4 1/3 years. May they stay there *forever*.
