Write Every Day: Day 6

To the shock of exactly 0 people, the contractor was not done on Tuesday. I can hear them still thumping and sawing away in the basement.

Who knows what's going on down there at this point.

My usual practice is to do most of my cooking on the weekends. I'll throw together a meal that makes lots of left-overs and then graze on that for the following week. Bonus points if I can put some in the freezer so I can mix it up a bit. Last weekend I made a bean chili and that was dinner last night. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.

Trying to decide what I'll experiment on this weekend. Maybe something with noodles.

Another 100ish words last night while listening to bands recommended by Bandcamp. Speaking of which, Bandcamp is donating all their proceeds from Friday's sales to Musicares's fire relief initiative. I have a few items in my shopping cart ready for tomorrow.

Ugh, I hope the contractors are done soon! There have been people thumping and sawing next door to our bookshop for at least three weeks, and by next door I mean we share a wall. That's bad enough, let alone having it going on in your own basement!
