and breathe

Thank you for all the well-wishes everybody.

I am leaving shortly to go get Lord Brock and bring him home. Turns out he has Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which can lead to pancreatitis if not treated. No wonder he didn't feel like eating.

(I think a few people on my friends-list knows what that feels like.)

Special diet for the rest of his life, but that's entirely manageable. On the plus side he'll probably puke a lot less.

Cats can get IBS too? Poor Lord Brock, he has my deepest sympathies.

Hopefully he'll feel much better on his new diet.

My Ophelia developed IBS (and the pancreatitis) in the last few years of her life. Possibly also bowel cancer but we were at "this is a good run; no chemo for kitties (in my budget anyway)" by that point. They gave her one month to one year to live; she made it almost 3 years and had a pretty decent QOL until right at the end.

I'm glad Lord Brock has a dx and is feeling better.
