Man, if I need to prove that this was a hard year, I only have to point to this number. This is it, 14 books in a whole year and I didn't even finish all of them. I used to easily do that in a week. (I also used to finish everything I started, even if I hated it.)

I was looking at my bookworm tag and realized that I haven't posted anything I've read yet this year. I can't say I've read much, what with being so busy, but it's definitely more than zero.

So I'll try and compile a list from memory.

Somebody in the 'hood was giving away a big box of comics, so we scooped them up. I haven't really been keeping up with what's going on in comics, so I was curious about some of these titles.

I haven't stopped tracking what I read, I just hadn't gotten around to posting about it. (I'm waiting for an excel file to either finish calculating or just give up and crash already, so I have some time right now.)

I used to love Lord of the Rings when I was a teenager and I must have read it a dozen times. My interest in it kind of subsided over the years but when I hooked up with Darrell, he was a major fan. The movies were part of his comfort watching when he got really sick.

The books I read this month were a combination of his and mine.
