five good things about today

1. After helping haul a heavy desk down my front steps on Thursday - and doing it mostly bent over since I was at the top of the stairs and was considerably taller than the other person - my back hasn't given me even one single twinge or spasm. Nada. Zilch. Zero. It is definitely getting stronger.

2. Eleven subway stops worth of the the most riveting cleavage I have ever seen in my entire life displayed right across the aisle from me. I was very grateful for my sunglasses, I think I would have got slapped otherwise.

3. $5 jeans. That fit.

4. Monday off the day job and plans for two days of tearing up the basement. Work makes me happy when it results in progress, and we're going to be making some.

5. [livejournal.com profile] bcholmes will be in Haiti when the Apocalypse comes. Which is a good thing, because they pretty much have the whole dealing with zombies issue well in hand already.

This made me lol, irl. Then I had to read it out loud to D. He snickered and reminisced about the time you all went to the opera. ;]

Now that is a pleasant commute!
