I can do most of the things on Heinlein's list. I know how to kill and butcher a hog, but I'm not sure I actually could, but it isn't like I have to.

As for the things a man should know how to do...give me a break. Most of those are skills you only need if you are an outdoor enthusiast. I know how to build a fire and sharpen a knife, but when do I ever need to?

I can do the things that are useful on a mundane level like retouching digital photos, but how often in your life do you come across a dead outlet unless you are a builder or live in a house with ancient wiring? If the latter, get someone to replace your wiring before the place burns down, duh.

The men's list is pissing contest stuff (unless you are an outdoor enthusiast, in which case, why isn't the list longer?). Heinlein's list is actually useful.
