It has been so hot in my house for the past couple of days. Toronto has been going through a heat wave, and since we are stuck in the the renovation stage of not having a back wall we haven't been able to run the air conditioning.

sanguinity about writing long-hand, so I took a glass of wine out onto my shaded porch along with a pad and a pen and filled several pages with writing on one of my short-stories until it got too dark to see. Victory!
