We didn't get yelled at when we were in southern Thailand, but we got a lot of stares from schoolkids, and also this gorgeous about-1-year-old at the zoo. She'd clearly never even imagined non-Thai humans, and she was fascinated.

We were followed for quite some distance by a trio of schoolgirls. We were obviously not something they see every day.

There are white people here, at the airport, in the banks, working in the missions. Walking down the streets in Port au Prince? Not so much.
