do a new thing every day

I just had my very first ever experience with a Neti Pot.

Weirdest. Sensation. Ever.

I love my neti for things like sinus infections, allergy attacks and sometimes it even helps with migraine relief. Oddest thing I have happen with it is that when using it on one side, I get the water coming out my eye a little :D Apparently I tilt my head a little much that way.

Uncle Wikipedia reports that neti doodads may be good for cleaning your tear ducts.

Sometimes when it's very cold and I blow my nose, my eyes bubble.

I get the eye watering deal too. The creepiest thing that ever happened to me was neti-ing and noticing that something scary and black came out of my eye. So, I suppose I second the blow comment that says the thing is good for cleaning out tear ducts. Creepy, creepy. I still don't know what the gunk even was.

Could have been soot? Do you live in an area with a lot of pollution?

I get conjunctivitis all the time, so this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Really freaking disturbing mind you, but not bad.
