I finally found my old passport. I need to send it back to get a replacement.

It was issued in 1986

That was 198-fucking-6, people.

Holy fuck do I look young in the picture. Young and kind of, I dunno how to explain it --- soft almost. Undefined. Like the photo is taken through some kind of filter.

I still have mine from back then.
I was able to keep it when I needed to renew mine since the old one has my residency sticker in it.

I was quite happy to keep it since I think I look quite lovely in the photo. It's certainly better than the more recent one which was taken quickly and after I got rained on.

I'm one of those weird people who keeps their passport up-to-date. Heck, my kids have their own passports (one of which is about to expire :-).

Comes from one too many instances of my boss telling me that I need to be on a plane to California *tomorrow*, I guess.
