Remember when these were all over LJ? And people would get mad when you called them memes?
1. Do you like blue cheese?
I love all cheese. So yes.
2. Have you ever smoked?
Nope. I'm pretty allergic to cigarettes.
3. Do you own a gun?
No. I think shooting is a ton of fun and I do it whenever I get the chance. But I think being on record as having a mental illness disqualifies me from getting an FAC.
4. What is your favorite flavor?
I like tart flavours more than sweet ones.
5. Do you get nervous before doctor visits?
Meh. Not really. I should be, given how frequently it's bad news.
6. What do you think of hot dogs?
I think the pork ones are kinda gross. Toronto is great for street dogs, and the vendors have all kinds so I usually choose a veggie dog when I buy one.
7. Favourite Christmas movie?
Arsenic and Old Lace. Yes, I know it doesn't take place over Christmas. No, I don't care.
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Coffee is how I remain a semi-competent adult who can do things like hold down a job.
9. Do you do push-ups?
Yep. I don't exercise as often as I want to, given the brain weasels. But when I do exercise, I include push-ups.
10. What’s your favourite piece of jewelry?
I don't wear a ton of jewlery because I am clumsy and my sweat eats through most metals. Having said that, I wear a white gold band on one hand, and my wedding ring (a simple silver celtic knot) on the other. I rarely take them off, so I guess those count as my favourites.
11. Favourite hobby?
Writing at the moment. We'll see how long that lasts.
12. Do you have A.D.D.?
Nope. I think would exceed some upper limit on how many things can be wrong with one brain at the same time.
13. What’s the one thing you hate about yourself?
My depression. It's eaten large chunks of my life.

Frances.
15. Name three thoughts right now?
Three? You're lucky to get one.
Well, OK. I'm thinking about the next couple of chapters of my story and what I'm going to do with them.
I'm debating going to a social event on Thursday to watch meteors given that I have to work the next day.
I'm trying to psyche myself up to have a workout when I get home. You know, with pushups.
Sorry, I tend to have very few actual thoughts on weekdays that aren't about spreadsheets.

Everywhere. Right now I'm fixated on India, but I literally want to go everywhere.

No idea.
23. Do you own slippers?
Nope. The vertigo makes me scared of dealing with the stairs in anything that doesn't have really good traction, so I when I'm at home I go barefoot in the summer and sneakers in the winter.

Black.
25. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets?
It's been a long time, but I remember them as really slippery and kinda sweaty.
26. Can you whistle?
Very badly. I've been trying to learn that really ear-splitting loud whistle my whole life and have never succeeded.

Black if you count that as a colour. Purple if you don't.
28. Would you be a pirate?
Given the lives of most women in the times and places that had/have piracy, I would probably counted it a better than the alternatives. There are a lot of times when I probably would have ended up as a nun, because that was the only reliable way to get access to an education.

Whatever earworm I have stuck in my head at the moment. (Right now it's The Nails.)
