Sept 3rd - a 1000 word challenge fic. I'm not particularly happy with it, it's not what I was intending to write for the challenge and I'm not sure it fits the prompt, but it's what I got so it'll have to do.

Day 3: 750 words. I don't think I've quite got the emotional and political mood of this scene right yet, but it's progress! I also found some interesting research bits and pieces, which I haven't read properly yet, so I may have a look at those tomorrow and see if they inspire anything.

3: (almost) finishing a spreadsheet-the-deuterocanon project I started in October and (until a couple days ago) hadn't touched since March counts for one (1) day's worth of writing, because that puts all those bits of deuterocanon in a single searchable file, where I can search it for the bit that best suits the plot point I need one of these for

(also it took many hours and I no longer expect to make actual words today)

121 words for me, but finally for a fannish WIP again! Not one of my current ones, but half of a snippet for a bingo card fill, and I think I can even keep that part without much editing. Go me! ^^

Got to check in for Days 1-3, where some of my progress was in cleaning up and making sure things were ready for exchange deadlines, same of it was in writing a weekly post, and at least an alibi sentence to add to something that's still due (but not for a while.) Slow, steady progress keeps us moving.

I have been out hiking for three days! Thus, no writing, though I did manage an alibi sentence today. But I did beta-read on my ereader during the trip, and this evening after getting back I had a two-and-a-half hour Zoom session with my beta about both our fics...
