Yesterday was much more productive - two pages of notes for the next podcast, plus another 200 words on the short story.

And once again I have forgotten to add my own name for a week. *head desk*. One of these days I will get the hang of... well everything, I swear.

Day 15: Tired today, so instead of starting on the next bit of redrafting I scribbled some brief notes for the rest of the story. Just when I feel like the end is at least vaguely in sight, this thing keeps sprouting more scenes...

Well, I'm unable to work and I live alone, so I have more time to write than a lot of folks. Gives me a bit of an unfair advantage.

Day 15: I wrote the first 500 words of a new story! It is provisionally called the werewolf story (the fandom is Flight of the Heron). The plot has not been entirely ironed out yet, but no doubt that will come while I write.

I did just write a psychically-bonded-to-wolves story, so it feels slightly weird to be writing quite another wolf trope, but the tropes are quite different otherwise.

Well, yikes, that has been a few more days than I thought (thanks, messed up meds) - but I have actually managed at least something for days 10-15 (some novel editing, some not-novel editing, some random fits and starts of yet more new stuff, some outlining and some research). Not as much as I'd've liked, but not nothing, y'know?

Today was a big, big push to finish getting the perennials in the ground, with the predictable result that I'm filthy and exhausted, so I added 106 words to Chapter 16, which is going to need my undivided attention soon, but today is not that day.

the pet immigration restrictions bit is purely canon's fault: I'm not convinced there were forty hours between Viktor in Russia (cuddling his dog) deciding to move countries and Viktor turning up in small-town Japan (dog in tow), never mind the forty days' notice required for bringing a dog into Japan in RL, and while having all the documentation up to date correctly means a pet quarantine of twelve hours not six months, it sounds like the major reason for the six months and the forty days and everything is to make sure it's been more than six months since the last rabies vaccination? ergo fuck it, what rabies? it has gone the way of smallpox, it is not a concern anymore
