Putting up today's check-in post a bit early so I can get ready for the charity walk today. Trying to decide if I need my parka. (The parka is really too warm for anything over -10 C, and it will be hovering around that point - and also I'll be walking. But it will be dark by the time I'm heading home. Hmmm.)

[EDIT] Just checked the route map and we're walking over the Don Valley bridge, oh hells yeah I'm wearing the parka.

Feb 22nd - 2831 words. The start of a challenge fic, and another 5 ficathon fills.

Good luck on your charity walk! We're going for a bit of a hike this afternoon, but it's a touch warmer here (12 degrees F with wind chill) than there.

On Day 22, I wrote an 89-word alibi poem about death.

Walking will keep you warm, but as you say, cold later. Wear the parker, but unzip it, and/or remove the hood as you heat up. Good luck with the walk.
