Write Every Day: Day 24

It's above zero today (NOT normal for February) and the snow is melting. Every once in a while there will be a big crash as as a huge chunk of it slides off somebody's roof and lands on something loud. There was just a huge pile that came off my roof and onto the deck outside my window and it made me jump out of my skin.

Yesterday was chores and noodling. I didn't really feel like writing but I got my alibi sentence.

We don't normally get so much of it all at once. And have the temperature turn to melting it so suddenly. State of the new world, I guess.

Weather has indeed gone crazy. We had snow in early November when we don't usually get it until after Christmas, if we get any at all.

Yeah, it's pretty wet out there right now. It dipped below zero last night just as I was walking up my street and I could see the ice forming in front of me, so that was pretty wild.

Here it got up above 50°F today — I ran errands in a short-sleeve shirt! It's supposed to get back down to 32°F for a brief moment overnight, then back up into being warm again tomorrow. So weird.

Day 24: Alibi sentences: 61 words on "Everyone Loves Lily." It's frustrating because I really wanted to write more tonight, but I just didn't have the mental energy. Fortunately, the alibi sentences I wrote sketched out the plot for the next chapter, so future me owes me one!
