The most disturbing thing about the whole Janet Jackson dumb-fest is the number of adults who are apparently unable to distinguish the not-terribly-subtle difference between a body part and a sex act.

It's an election year in the USA. Latching on to moral panics and riding them for popularity is vote-maximizing behavior.
