i hate swallowing bugs. i used to get them all the time when i race cycles years ago. in fact, i sucked one down one time and my reaction almost wiped me out.

if it makes you feel any better, fare awae and long ago when i lived in an ancient plantation house, i woke up after a rare instance of sleeping on my back to find myself eyeball-to-mandible with a gigantic black spider. which had decided to descend from the bed-canopy to hover an inch from my nose and wait for my unsuspecting behind to discover it. it's abdomen was the size of a quarter, and even without my glasses on, i could see that it was looking at me.


i like spiders. but didn't think i could crawl horizontally before that day. i'm pretty sure my back grew feet. meep.
