two hours after eating a burrito from the el cheapo taqueria downstairs, I would say their guacamole is a delivery system for shards of broken glass mixed with quikcrete.

*burp* ow

An excellent way to smooth the sharp edged of Crispy Crack AKA sweet-chilli crisps.

Jacques love!

Yes, as is everything else of any culinary worth.

I don't put garlic in my guacamole. ;)

Guacamole is garlic, lime and avocado nirvana. Damn, now I want some.

That Campari ad is quite something isn't it? ;)

no way! you have *so* been misled. guac is all about the avocado, man. everything else, the onion, the garlic, the tomato, the lime juice...it's all just there to adorn the avocado, jewels at the throat of a beautiful woman. they should enhance, never steal the show. and people who use sour cream? they need to repent before it is too late for them.

Sour cream? Yuk.

I've never had it with tomato. I might try that.

the tomato should be perfectly ripe, or forget it. and in small mince. there are laws, i'm pretty sure.

I was worried nobody who know who he was.

It turns out that JC is timeless.

not at all.
Guac is a delivery and lubrication system for cilantro, lime and chopped onions.

I hate avocados. It's not the flavor, which I like. It's the texture. I am huge on texture. One of my ex's felt the nicest thing I ever did for her was to make a picnic lunch where I found a fresh avocado, hand cut it, and made her her favorite sandwich. She knew my general disgust with that particular fruit. For some, completely non-rational reason, I loathe naturally occuring substances that are like avocados. Don't hate others for liking it, and, as I said, it's completely non-rational.

However, give me all the garlic you've got. Then add more :)

I get what you mean about texture - I have something similar with onions. Chewing them feels like biting tinfoil.

Yes! Our guacamole uses a minimum of 3 cloves of garlic per avocado and burns going down, but damn, is it ever good. The last time we put around half a head of garlic in, but that seemed to be a bit too much.

Not that I'd ever think I'd hear myself say that something had too much garlic...
