no way! you have *so* been misled. guac is all about the avocado, man. everything else, the onion, the garlic, the tomato, the lime juice...it's all just there to adorn the avocado, jewels at the throat of a beautiful woman. they should enhance, never steal the show. and people who use sour cream? they need to repent before it is too late for them.

the tomato should be perfectly ripe, or forget it. and in small mince. there are laws, i'm pretty sure.
