I keep amusing myself with the fact that a lot of music from the '90s is now older than a lot of music from the '60s was when "oldies" became a thing in the '80s. The Downward Spiral is now as old as Sgt. Pepper's was in 1990.
I was chatting about music with one of the skaters. I said that when I first heard (Keep Feeling) Fascination by The Human League it was so different from anything I'd heard before it was like a lightning bolt from space. It grabbed me and shifted me onto a different course, musically.
