We had a coyote in our backyard yesterday. It's happened before - in fact I'm sure it happens on a regular basis - but this is the first time I've seen one in broad daylight.

Darrell tried to get her picture but she heard the window open and did that lanky I'm-not-hurrying-but-I'm-covering-ground lope they do into the neighbour's yard and then she was gone.

So that was kind of cool.

So, from memory you live in the city, on a train line, and you get coyotes?

Ontario is a magical place.

We have a lot of parks and ravines in Toronto, that's how they get around.

Every once in a while somebody will spot one and freak out, but they've been living here longer than the city has existed.

Also, I just heard on the radio someone(s) there bombed an Indian restaurant?

We have a bad Nazi infestation going on at the moment. I expect they're connected.

Nazis everywhere, seems like.

We've (reportedly) had a resurgence too, although personally I haven't seen any indication (like the 'Asians Out' posters that were *everywhere* in the late '80s). I can't imagine why*.

Our inept neo-nazis also targeted restaurants. But they used to do it when they were closed.
