At some point I will figure out this sticker culture that's emerged over the past few years.

Not knowing a sense of scale, but assuming a Canadian bus stop is the same as a local one, that's what this looks like to me.

Yep. Stickers are pretty cheap to produce, so if you're going to get into public art (or social commentary) it's easy access.

The ones I see the most of are basically lame krew tags, no effort to make any kind of comment on anything, as far as I can tell.

I sometimes am startled to realize that the pandemic has been going on for over a year now. I then remind myself that when it started, I'd tell people that if it went on for 2- or 3- years I would not be surprised. I'm not surprised, just as sick of it as everyone else is.

I was chatting last night with a friend about getting a cottage for a weekend and we were talking about maybe September being a realistic time to aim for. And I have other friends who just bought tickets to go to Prague next May.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not those timeframes are overly optimistic.

Sadly, none of us has any idea if realistic timeframes. For almost a year, they’ve been prematurely lifting restrictions, only to have the pandemic come roaring back.
