Doug Ford is our provincial Premier. Rob Ford was our Mayor. I have no doubt whatsoever that DF's decision to increase mayoral powers is specifically because those pesky city counsellors wouldn't let little brother do whatever he wanted while he was Mayor.

Provincial Canadian politics isn't my thing (and national, but I am apprised that Trudeau is THE WORST by the Fraser Institute).

Yeah Rob Ford died of stomach cancer.

The Fraser Institute is an oligarch think tank. I'm no fan of Trudeau, but they are not people I'd take advice from.
