an apology and an explanation

First of all I apologize for worrying people.

I'm ok, really. I'm just - upset. And I really really hate crying in front of people. And it occurred to me to be rather wry about the fact that I never used to cry when bad things happened to me because I was so numb all the time I didn't feel much. So now that I'm (comparatively) mentally healthy I'm all over the place with the tears and I hate it.

I guess it's not something that translates well in a short LJ post, and I'm sorry for doing that to you.

Long story short, the stomach thing is driving me nuts, I have Axel pointing out to me that I have been getting more frequent and more debilitating migraines lately, I'm starting to get a little concerned about the fact that have been dizzy every day for the past three weeks - and then today I got told I have advanced periodontal disease and I'm going to lose all my teeth.

And that was just my last fucking spoon.

Massive hugs from me, and I heartily second all the suggestions re: a second opinion and folic acid.

If you need me for anything, you know you can always let me know, right? If not, I completely understand the need to be away from people.

That would make me bawl my eyes out, whether or not I had all that other stuff going on.

Oh, wow - that sucks. I can see getting a bit misty after being told that.

As for the rest of the ailments, what're the chances that you have a mold problem in the basement? I know that certain molds can cause dizziness, migraines, and worsen asthma attacks.

Just a thought.

We've actually considered that and we've been sleeping on the main floor for about the last two weeks. So if we have a mold problem, it's in the entire house.

Could be. Or it's mold dust travelling through the vents - which would also suck fairly hard.

Here's a decent site on black mold discovery/cleaning.

I'm convinced we have it in the basement. We run a dehumidifier all summer long, but every time it rains water just pours through the wall. And the leak is right next to our bedroom.

Given how drafty our place is, I wouldn't be surprised if the spores are all through the house by now.

*sigh* More incentive to get the upstairs bathroom installed so we can rip the walls out downstairs and clean it up.

Eeesh. *hugs*

How much do you want to bet that it's one thing causing all of your symptoms? And until you find out what that one thing is, you're going to go on being ill and developing new & interesting ailments? Ugh :/ I think that would de-spoon anyone.

I've been wondering about that, if it might be that my food sensitivity symptoms are spreading to new and exciting territories.

I've gathered together enough cutlery to start back on the diagnostic diet, so that will at least take care of my stomach issues for the time being. I'll see if that has any effect on any of my other issues. If not, my next step will be an ear, nose and throat specialist to rule out any raging headmeat infections that I have just somehow failed to notice.
