what's the opposite of dissociation? asking for a friend

Integration? Re-association? De-dissociation? Falling back into one's body and landing like a bag of hammers?

My sister always calls that feeling "reentry", like a spacecraft coming back to earth. It's always choppy and bumpy, and you have to manage the angle of reentry to make sure you don't get too much friction.

And then you come back and find that the world is still what it is and hasn't had the decency to pick up after itself, in spite of everything you were doing in outer space.

Hoping that it's as gentle as possible. <3
