I saw that ad *once* on TV well over a month ago and then never again. I'd waited for an age for it to come on again to show Matthew and it never did and now... here it is.
I'd wondered if they got rid of it was 'cause someone pointed out that you shouldn't imply insult to your target audience. Matthew now wonders if they got rid of it 'cause people get upset at the idea of chucking rats out car windows [then there's always the possibility that they haven't gotten rid of it and I just don't watch the right television; I don't know who the junk-collector target audience is].
Anyway. From the day I first saw it whenever I'd see a Got Junk truck I'd yell, "1-800-GOT-RATS!" at it... meaning that it must be a very effective ad [these are the ads of our lives].
