Know anyone that was forced to give up property because of the changing laws? I do. Know anyone that's been forced to register firearms that they've held for years and pay fees to do what they continued to do before? I do.
Registration stops drunk driving just like registration stops gun crime. It doesn't. It just provides a mechanism for confiscation later in the future.
