Which Way Is Up?
May. 14th, 2003 10:50 amFelt normal enough after a nap yesterday to go out for something to eat. (Albeit someplace close.) Today I'm even better -- as long as I don't move my head.
The dizziness only hits when I change the orientation of my head -- so the world goes 'round and 'round if I tilt it to the side to releive a kink in my neck, or bend over to tie my shoes. Getting in or out of bed makes me clutch at the bed frame.
So I'm pretty sure it's a cold virus or something. I've had the stiff muscles and eight-hours-of-sleep-and-still-tiredness of a virus for the last week or so. The fact that I'm feeling a bit more stable today means it probably won't last much longer. (She says hopefully.)
I'm pretty sure that walking around with my head held rigidly in the same position looks pretty retarded, but the spontaneous tipping over looks even dumber. I'm convinced that there is Somebody sitting in the OtherWorld, pointing me out to their deity friends and saying, "Watch This" and then cracking up laughing.
Bleah. Now, should I call in to work or not...
