oop!

Apparently I've been putting dirty socks into peoples' trick-or-treat bags. Serve the little bastards right, coming around here at all hours. Takes care of that distressing when-am-I-going-to-find-time to do laundry problem too.

In less than 24 hours I will be disembarking from the plane at Heathrow.

I think it may be an indication of just how burnt out I really am that I am having trouble getting my arse motivated to PACK for my VACATION.


C'mon, just keep it together for a few more hours, and then you can let all your bits fall apart in glorious drunken abandon...

Whitby post

I have been seeing posts all week on my friends' LJs about what they are wearing, buying new clothes, stressing about not being able to buy new clothes.

elecrolyte and emulsional just called me from the road -- they are on their way back to Toronto from Buffalo, which is the location of the nearest Hot Topic. A road-trip specifically arranged in order to have new things to wear at Whitby.

I don't get it. Evidently other people notice these things. I notice tattoos and new limbs, and that's about it.

So this is my official announcement that I will be dressed in my usual fashion. The Aging Punk SlobTM.

I mean, damn. Who the hell wants to spend all that money on corsets when there is beer to be bought?

I suck at recognizing three-dimensional people from their pictures. I am semi-notorious for standing next to Very Famous people and having no idea who they are[1][3].

So if you see me and I should know who you are -- come say hi.

Hell, for that matter if I have no idea who the fuck you are and happen to reading this, still come say hi. I like meeting people but I'm not good at figuring out how to launch a conversation out of the blue.


[1] No idea why this is. One day when I feel inclined I will research how humans map images. For now I will simply assure you that I don't very successfully.[2]
