How true. When I lived in Chicago, I used to take out-of-town friends to Marshall Fields department store and walk them to the middle of the cosmetics floor and tell them to look up.
Passing people first would look at us funny and then look up as well. Most people never realised that the world's largest Tiffany mosiac is on the ceiling of the 5th floor and standing on the ground floor in the cosmetics department allowed you to see it.
In London, I like sitting on the top level of double-decker buses so I can see the interesting decorations on the higher level of old buildings.
