I actually went for an asthma test and it was decreed that I don't have "classic" asthma. So that explains why the inhalers don't help.
The one thing she gave me that actually seemed to help is one that dried up my sinuses. So the most recent theory is that my sinuses are draining into my lungs and causing problems. It's the only thing I have ever taken that interrupted the three months of coughing that normally follows my yearly bout of bronchitis.
