Day 5: 500 words (exactly, which I thought was funny :D ) on a short fic idea I've had for a while, letting the longer WIP sit for a day.

Aug 5th - 600 words, a double and a quadruple drabble.

On Day 5, I added 233 words to Laci Waxwing, so I feel a little less like I've totally abandoned it. ;-)

Wrote my 500 words, total wordcount 63,000.

More editing on the story to submit. We're at the stage where I change a thing one day then change it back the next. >.> Getting close!

Got to check in for Days 4 and 5, where I successfully threw penguins on one and set myself up to throw penguins properly on the other major issue. Now I just have to actually do the writing all the way through.

Day 5: 326 words on WIP 1, and finally returned to the exchange treat we'll call WIP 2, which I started last month but couldn't quite finish, to write 662 words. Hoping to finish that one by the end of the weekend!

Not a bad day for me, writing-wise, though no fic writing happened: but more writing-related long mails and a handful of comments about a writing issue, adding up to about 800 words, and then it was claiming time for Scribbles & Drabbles 2022. I got the three claims I wanted and happily revisited my original ideas for them, although I didn't take any notes. Also, the heat wave broke, and between some wind and an overcast sky temps became deligthfully cool again which was SO GOOD. *feels reborn*
