The charity walk definitely sounds like more of an adventure than that sort of thing would normally be, but not necessarily in a bad way! Especially with the happy ending!
Day 23: 100 words. I wrote a drabble for a Get Your Words Out plot monster challenge. The plot I had to write was "A prank goes horribly wrong." This was hard for me because I don't like pranks at all, as a general rule. Fortunately, I managed to come up with a way or the prank to go in such a way that the would-be victim actually benefits from it, while the prankster suffers nothing worse than seeing their prank backfire.
