I HAVE A JOB!

I danced. I really did. In my living room. It was the "I got a job" dance, which is very similar to the "I quit my job" dance, but with more butt-shaking and punching the air yelling Uh-yeah, Uh-yeah.

Next on the agenda for this month; win large sums of money in the lottery.


On the downside, it means I'm probably not going to Convergence after all. It falls right in the middle of my training.

I think he's already decided to do it in mid-June because the long weekend had family obligations for a lot of the local folks. I'll poke him about it.

Oh, poo, I was hoping for a long weekend so I could do a road trip and drag more people along, but I have to be frugal with my vacation days this year (we're planning a trip to Japan and I want to go for as long as possible). I'll still plan to fly up, but I may not be able to convince anyone else to come with me. :/ Er, it would be okay to invite friends along, right?

Sorry about that. I debated whether to hold it on July 1/4 weekend this year because I found a lot of TO peeps go out of town for the weekend & when I posed the question on my LJ more people said the 17th worked for them.

No worries, I can make it by air, it's just easier to bring stuff if I drive. :)
I'll see if I can convince anyone to come along, but I may have more luck on a long weekend, so you guys may see me twice this year. :)
