One of the old roomers from the house showed up last night and let himself in. I heard razorjak's voice outside our bedroom and just assumed another cat had climbed in through an open window upstairs.

I was getting up when I heard Jak say clearly, "You don't live here any more", and both the_axel and I flung our pants on and stepped into the basement.

He was headed for the room we are now using for storage. He was obviously confused and looked like he might have just been in a fight. He shuffled out the front door with no protest.

the_axel is at home right now trying to change the lock, but the door is so chopped to shit he's apparently having a lot of trouble with it.

I would have bit a bit nonplussed to find him sleeping in our storage room.
