I'm just waiting on a train

--------------------------
The house is coming along -- no new construction, but lots of unpacking. Holy shit, do we have a lot of crap.
We have a fully functional kitchen now, a futon couch for guests, and the vast majority of an office.
the_axel and I trotted out to the local supermarket this week and returned with a staggering amount of stuff tipping out of the top of a bundle-buggy.
There is something really satisfying about stocking your very own kitchen with your very own food, even if food mostly means stuff that comes in tins and jars. One of those minor things that makes it feel like "home".
And I was getting really tired of take-out.
--------------------------
I bolted out of the house this weekend with my shirt on backwards because I had an appointment with the people who run Auto Share. Fantastic idea, whoever came up with this. Every city should have one.

I will be ever grateful to Warren Ellis for being responsable for the existance of Transmetropolitan. Now he is writing a story in 60 posts on LJ as
mistersleepless.
Really Cool Shit.
--------------------------
I'm not very good company these days. I have been increasingly cranky over the last couple of weeks, to the point where I feel like I am constantly suppressing the urge to punch somebody.
Tiredness and stress I suppose.
I took a couple of hours to go the pub the other night and got to see
missjanette. Which was cool. But I caught myself wondering if I should even be there -- I'm sure I'm fuck awful company.
Best line of the night:
the_siobhan "I can't find my boots -- I think they're in a box."
electrolyte "Who's?"
It would probably be worth taking the time to go to the gym or go running if it will help me focus -- if I could ever find a couple of hours in my schedule where I'm not having to be somewhere else.
Less than a month... then I get my life back.
