I have the headcold from hell

Got no work done for the last couple of days because I've been cruising the news, and of course reading everybody's take on the news. I'm a current-events whore, I admit it.

You know what's inspiring? All the Americans on my friends list. For two days there was all this was incredulity and despair -- but today there has been post after post of "Right, time to roll up the sleeves. We have work to do."

That inspires me.

I'm interested in seeing how the Black Box Voting Freedom of Information requests turn out. I'm not the only one, their server got completely swamped last night.

And in local news, cool on Saskatchewan. They are the most recent province to consider legislation to legalize same-sex marriage. If they decide in favour that will make it six provinces and one territory.

And to my Australian friends - look out. A naked man is headed your way

Now I'm going to get off LJ and go back to getting some work done.
