Write Every Day: Day 8

Did you know that June 7 is Clean Air Day in Canada? I showed this a friend of mine and he said, "What, we're exporting irony now?"

The local schools have announced that they are turning off the air intakes in their HVAR systems because of the pollution levels. You know, the HVAC that was installed to increase ventilation against Covid.

Never in my wildest imaginings could I have come up with an apocalypse scenario that is just so dumb. But we are supposed to get heavy rain in the next day or two, so hopefully that will reach some of the fires. And maybe wash some of the particulate matter out of the air, I dunno how that works.

Anyway! Writing happened! I logged in last night to do an alibi sentance and ended up with 200 new words, so not bad.
