Waaay back when I was job-hunting I signed up for some online resume sites. I never bothered to take down my (now completely out of date) resume and I still get regular emails on job-hunting and career advice. Very occasionally I even glance through one.

Which is how I spotted the lead-in to this particular article on Workopolis today.

It's a legitimate management technique. I don't see why women shouldn't use all the tools men get to use.

The problem with flirting your way to the top is that it won't GET you to the top - it might get you a promotion or two, sure, but you'll be some manager's or officer's pet, and never taken seriously. The unfortunate attitude in corporate America these days is that you can be taken seriously, sexy, or female: Pick two.
